El Moracco Bar

This old southwestern bar was painted from a photograph. The composition consists of acrylics laid on board. Using a special technique, this rendering takes on the look of an old worn and cracked oil painting. Also incorporated in this style of mixed medium, the artist used actual sand mixed hay in the tumbleweed, to create the authenticity of actual desert relief.
